GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP
Connecting global partners for actionable ecohydrology
The Smart-HydroC International Partner Network connects research institutions, public agencies, technical organizations and practitioners worldwide to advance collaborative research on dammed-river ecohydrology, carbon cycling, cross-basin validation and sustainable management.
GLOBAL NETWORK MAP
Smart-HydroC IPN currently connects partner institutions across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

PARTNER DIRECTORY
Partner institutions currently participating in or onboarding to the IPN are listed by region. The network will continue to expand as Smart-HydroC progresses.
CURRENT NETWORK FOOTPRINT
The areas below outline the priority themes that Smart-HydroC seeks to advance through international collaboration and will continue to evolve with the project.
Comparing CO₂/CH₄ production, transport, emissions and accounting across climates and reservoir types to advance cross-regional carbon-cycle model validation.
Using basin cases across climate zones to compare ecohydrological processes, share data and test Smart-HydroC across regions.
Applying models, scenario analysis and decision-support tools to hydropower development, water infrastructure and water-resource management needs.
Connecting public-sector and local practice needs through water governance, knowledge translation, training and tools for data-limited settings.
We welcome research institutions, public agencies and technical partners interested in collaborative ecohydrology and sustainable management of dammed rivers to contact the team through the official channels listed on the homepage.
